Helpful extra questions to consider:
Do I want it to be hot? A great year round destination, it is worth bearing in mind that Egypt can be very hot in the peak summer season (June-September). Especially if you are planning a lot of site seeing.
Can I fly from a regional airport? Most of our tours are based on flights from London or maybe Manchester, as these airports fly to Luxor and Cairo. If you want a regional departure, then consider adding in a bit of the Red Sea to your Egypt trip. Even if this is just for a few days at the start and end as there are lost more flights to Hurghada from smaller airports in the UK.
Will I have to do lots of walking? Nile cruises and the pyramids site can involve lots of walking. Our ground team in Egypt however, will make sure you are always comfortable. They know all the short-cuts to take where necessary (buggies, closest drop offs etc).
